We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect (Platform & Infrastructure Specialist) to lead the deployment, hardening, and optimization of a large-scale Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) environment for a mission-critical Enterprise Data Modernization initiative within the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement the target architecture for the on-premises EDM platform

Lead setup and hardening of DEV, TEST, PROD, and DR environments

Deploy CDP Private Cloud Base on bare-metal infrastructure

Optimize storage architecture using HDFS and Apache Ozone

Configure High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments

Manage networking, firewalls, VPNs, and workload isolation

Integrate platform security with AD, LDAP, and Kerberos

Configure governance and orchestration platforms including Atlas, OpenMetadata, and Airflow

Support production cutover and 90-day hypercare activities

Required Skills & Expertise

5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloudera/Hadoop platform administration and architecture

Strong expertise in:

CDP Private Cloud Base & Cloudera Manager

HDFS, Apache Ozone, Apache Iceberg

YARN resource management

Apache Ranger, Ranger KMS, Kerberos, TLS v1.3

RHEL 8.x/9.x and Linux Administration

PostgreSQL / Oracle 19c

Apache Airflow, NiFi, Kafka

Networking, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Security Groups

Preferred Experience

Experience delivering data platforms for banking or regulated financial institutions

Knowledge of Kubernetes/containerization for future Cloudera Data Services

Experience with OpenMetadata and StarRocks

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Cloudera Certified Associate Administrator (CCA131) – Mandatory

Training in Securing Cloudera On-Premises and Managing Apache Ozone is highly preferred

Pay: RM1,453.33 - RM10,000.00 per month
