Job Summary

The Warehouse Line Leader is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, material handling, and logistics coordination. The role ensures that wire harness materials and components are properly received, stored, and delivered to production lines in a timely and accurate manner to support smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations

· Lead and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and issuing of materials.

· Ensure proper handling of wire harness components such as wires, connectors, terminals, and accessories.

· Monitor material movement between warehouse and production lines.

· Ensure materials are arranged and stored according to warehouse layout and procedures.

2. Receiving Management

· Supervise receiving of incoming materials from suppliers.

· Verify delivery quantity, part numbers, and documentation against purchase orders and delivery orders.

· Ensure proper inspection and recording of received materials.

· Coordinate with QA or relevant departments if discrepancies or damages are found.

3. Logistics & Material Distribution

· Coordinate timely material supply to production lines based on production schedules.

· Ensure smooth internal logistics flow within warehouse and production areas.

· Support loading and unloading of materials and finished goods.

· Coordinate shipment preparation and dispatch when required.

4. Inventory Control

· Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records.

· Conduct cycle counts and support periodic stock take.

· Ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) practices are followed.

· Investigate inventory discrepancies and report to supervisor.

5. Team Leadership

· Supervise warehouse operators and assign daily tasks.

· Monitor team performance and productivity.

· Provide guidance and training on warehouse procedures and safety practices.

· Ensure team discipline and compliance with company policies.

6. Safety & 5S

· Ensure warehouse activities comply with safety regulations and company procedures.

· Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S practices in warehouse areas.

· Ensure safe use of equipment and proper material handling practices.

Job Requirements

· Minimum SPM / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

· 3-5 years experience in warehouse operations in manufacturing environment.

· Experience in wire harness / electronics manufacturing is an advantage.

· Knowledge of receiving process, inventory control, and logistics coordination.

· Basic computer knowledge (Excel / ERP system).

· Good leadership and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
