PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Implement Activity-Based Costing (ABC) methodologies to accurately allocate costs to various activities and courses provided by Akademi Laut Malaysia.
- Analyze costs drivers and factors affecting course delivery to determine the true cost of providing each course.
- Collaborate with department heads and instructors to gather data on resource utilization including faculty time, facilities usage, materials and other relevant expenses.
- Develop pricing models based on cost analysis, market research and competitive benchmarking to set fees for courses that are both competitive and financially sustainable.
- Monitor industry trends, market demand and competitor pricing strategies to inform pricing decisions and ensure alignment with market standards.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates to pricing strategies to adapt to changes in costs, demand or market conditions.
- Work closely with the finance department to ensure pricing decisions are aligned with the academy's financial goals and objectives.
- Communicate pricing decisions and rationale to relevant stakeholders, including senior management, department heads and prospective students.
- Provide analytical related to course offerings and pricing strategies.
EXPERIENCE:
- Preferable: Minimum of 5 - 10 years of relevant working experience in cost accounting, pricing analysis or related roles, preferably in the education or training industry.
QUALIFICATION:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
