Account Executive (Finance & Accounting) – Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and routine financial administration.
- Perform regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing systems, ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, legal advisors, and bankers to support audit, tax, and corporate compliance matters.
- Provide support for ad-hoc accounting and finance projects, including process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of financial accounting principles, accounting standards, and basic regulatory requirements.
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail in financial data processing and reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal departments and external parties.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies and operational issues.
- Prior experience or exposure to audit, tax, banking, or company secretarial matters will be an added advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
