About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and driven Data Scientist to join a growing AI and technology team focused on real-world industrial optimization and sustainability solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced machine learning projects involving predictive analytics, digital twins, and energy optimisation systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise machine learning models for real-time industrial system performance and energy efficiency
- Work with predictive analytics, dynamic simulation models, and digital twin technologies
- Analyse large-scale datasets involving temperature, humidity, energy consumption, and operational metrics
- Build forecasting models for energy demand prediction and intelligent control strategies
- Collaborate with AI engineers, software teams, and product managers to deploy AI models into production
- Perform model validation, feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and continuous model improvement
- Design and evaluate experiments to measure system and model performance
- Present technical findings and business insights to stakeholders clearly and effectively
- Support continuous innovation and improvement of AI-driven solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI-related projects
- Experience with ETL processes, data preparation, and model optimisation techniques
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Java
- Good understanding of machine learning algorithms such as logistic regression, neural networks, decision trees, and heuristic models
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of reinforcement learning, control theory, digital twins, or simulation models will be an added advantage
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
