JOB DESCRIPTIONS

· Provide care for newborn babies and postpartum mothers, maintain patient records, promote breastfeeding to mothers, and ensure high standard of care

· Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, calling for assistance from health care support personnel.

· Carries out a full range of registered nurse duties, including assessment, planning implementation, and evaluation of the patient’s condition

· Document patient medical progress and treatment, record notes to update medical conditions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Diploma or Degree in Nursing or equivalent

· Possess a minimum of 5-6 years of experience working in the nursing/medical/ confinement centre or paediatric ward

· Willing to work 3 shifts with 4 working days

· Loves babies and passionate about postpartum care

· Pleasant, responsible, self-motivated and with good communication skills.

· Able to carry out instruction, punctuality and disciplined in completing the task in details.

· Able to multitask and work well independently and as well as a team.

· Able to do ad hoc duties as required by the Superior

· Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia.

· Able to converse and understand Mandarin will be an advantage.
