Full Time Cost Analyst Jobs, salary up to MYR 7,000 in Executive Compass Gerbang Nusajaya - Ricebowl

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain standard costing for products, including materials, labor, and overhead rates, ensuring accurate product cost information.
• Perform detailed variance analysis on material usage, labor efficiency, overhead absorption, and production costs, and provide clear explanations for management.
• Partner with plant operations, supply chain, and procurement teams to monitor manufacturing cost drivers and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities related to inventory and cost accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Monitor inventory valuation, analyze inventory movements, and support cycle counts and physical inventory processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare cost and profitability analysis reports to support pricing decisions, product margin analysis, and strategic planning.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing costs, including production expenses, overhead, and capital expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and accounting standards while continuously improving costing processes and financial reporting efficiency.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Accountancy or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in cost accounting/ financial analysis in a similar capacity for a multinational manufacturing company.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in teams.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulation and legal requirements. •
• Knowledge in Accounting software (SAP) will be an added advantage.
• Able to work in fast pace, multi-tasking and high-volume environment.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
