Hilong Offshore (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Lead Process Engineer to support an upcoming ADNOC oil & gas project.

This is a contract-based role with immediate availability required.

Contract duration: 24 months, with potential extension subject to project needs and performance.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Must have prior ADNOC project experience
• Experience in oil & gas EPCI projects
• Able to join immediately or within short notice

Job Description:

We are seeking a Lead Process Engineer to lead process design, optimization, and technical oversight for oil & gas production facilities within our EPCI project portfolio. You will work with global teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize process designs for oil & gas facilities
• Conduct thermodynamic and hydraulic simulations and modeling
• Prepare process datasheets and material balances
• Lead process engineering teams and coordinate with other disciplines
• Interface with process licensors and technology providers
• Develop process safety case studies and hazard assessments
• Manage process equipment specifications and procurement
• Oversee process testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (API, DNV, ISO)
• Participate in process design reviews and technical audits
• Support operations team on process optimization post-startup

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• 5–10 years of experience in oil & gas EPCI projects
• Demonstrated experience with multinational engineering companies
• Strong background in process simulation and modeling
• Proficiency in process simulation software (HYSYS, ProMax, or equivalent)
• Knowledge of separation processes, compression, and production systems
• Familiarity with international standards (API 11P, API 14A, DNV standards)
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering
• Experience with subsea or complex processing systems
• Knowledge of reservoir engineering and production forecasting
• FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) project experience
• Hydrogen and carbon capture technology knowledge
• Debottlenecking and brownfield optimization experience

Only candidates with ADNOC project experience will be shortlisted.
