Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on IoT Machine Engineer to support the development, improvement, troubleshooting, and integration of smart vending and coffee machine systems. This role involves both hardware and software coordination, machine connectivity, remote monitoring systems, and continuous improvement projects to enhance machine performance and user experience.

The ideal candidate must have strong technical problem-solving skills, experience in IoT systems, and the ability to work closely with Operations, R&D, and Software teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve IoT-enabled vending and coffee machine systems.
• Troubleshoot machine hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Monitor machine communication systems including sensors, telemetry, and cloud integrations.
• Work closely with software developers for machine API, dashboard, and remote monitoring integration.
• Conduct machine testing, validation, and performance analysis before deployment.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding machine technical specifications and improvements.
• Assist in firmware updates, APK installations, and machine configuration setup.
• Analyze machine downtime and propose preventive solutions.
• Support deployment and setup for new machine projects.
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in R&D and innovation projects for new machine features and automation enhancements.
• Work with Operations and Customer Service teams to resolve recurring technical issues.
• Ensure machine compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechatronics Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Computer Engineering/IoT Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2–5 years working experience
• Basic coding knowledge is an added advantage: Python, C++, Java, SQL
• Experience dealing with China suppliers/manufacturers is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to travel for machine deployment or technical support if required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in vending or F&B machine industry.
• Experience with cloud-based monitoring systems.
• Knowledge in machine telemetry and automation.
• Hands-on and proactive working attitude.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
