Hiring – ETL Developer / Data Engineer (Preferred Local & Malaysia-based foreign candidates)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia We are looking for an ETL Developer / Data Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. Requirements Degree in Computer Studies or a related field At least 5 years of experience in system development life cycle Strong experience in IBM DataStage (Server Edition v7 & v8) Strong knowledge of UNIX shell scripting Good understanding of data warehouse, data modeling, and ETL architecture Experience with databases such as Informix, DB2, AS400, and Oracle Good communication skills and able to work in a team Able to handle multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines Responsibilities Develop ETL solutions using IBM DataStage for data integration and processing Create UNIX shell scripts for file management and reporting Support data integration and business intelligence initiatives Work closely with System Analysts and Solution Architects for ETL design and development Perform testing (unit testing and integration testing) Monitor daily ETL jobs and troubleshoot production issues Support IT projects and daily system operations Prepare technical and business documentation Provide production support when required Added Advantages Experience with BI tools Experience in DataStage upgrade projects Knowledge in insurance industry Knowledge of Windows batch scripting

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
