Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior Quality Engineer (Test Automation) to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role requires strong expertise in end-to-end test automation, including framework design, execution, and integration within CI/CD environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring software quality across UI and API layers while mentoring team members and driving best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to discussions on testing strategies, processes, and solutions.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain end-to-end manual and automated test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Perform both UI and API testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
• Drive improvements by introducing new best practices and optimizing existing QA processes.
• Maintain clear, consistent, and complete documentation for assigned areas.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, compliance, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align on deliverables and timelines.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers.
• Foster strong team collaboration and a positive working environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience in API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL).
• Familiar with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
• Basic exposure to AI-assisted testing tools is an added advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
