Role Overview
As a Digital Marketing Specialist for our Web Novel platform, you will be responsible for driving user acquisition, increasing reader retention, and building brand presence across digital ecosystems. You will bridge the gap between creative storytelling and data-driven growth, turning casual scrollers into dedicated daily readers.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute paid user acquisition campaigns (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads) with a focus on Cost Per Install (CPI) and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
- Content Strategy: Create or oversee high-hook creative assets (short-form videos, static carousels, "teaser" copy) that highlight trending web novel tropes (e.g., CEO/Romance, LitRPG, Transmigration).
- Social Media & Community: Manage and grow our presence on Discord, Reddit, and X (Twitter) to foster a loyal reader community and manage influencer (KOL) collaborations.
- SEO & ASO: Optimize landing pages and App Store/Google Play listings with relevant keywords to improve organic discoverability of specific titles.
- Data Analytics: Monitor daily active users (DAU) and retention cohorts. Use tools like Google Analytics and AppsFlyer to report on campaign performance and reader behavior.
- Market Research: Stay ahead of "web novel" trends, competitor platform shifts (e.g., Webtoon, Tapas, Wattpad), and emerging internet subcultures.
RequirementsTechnical Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing (experience in gaming, webtoons, or publishing is a major plus).
- Proficiency in Paid Ads: Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and data visualization tools.
- Copywriting: Ability to write "clicky" but authentic ad copy that resonates with various reader demographics.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
