We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Forklift Operator will also be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, performing routine maintenance on the forklift, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
• Perform routine maintenance on the forklift, such as checking oil and water levels, and reporting any malfunctions
• Ensure inventory accuracy by verifying and documenting the quantity and quality of items received and shipped
• Load and unload trucks and containers using the forklift
• Ensure a safe working environment by following safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
• Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid forklift operator certification
• At least 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or logistic field
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
