Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse and logistics operations, leading a team to ensure seamless stock management, secure transportation of goods, and adherence to high packaging standards. This role requires a disciplined leader committed to maintaining safety, operational efficiency, and team accountability across all warehouse activities.
Job Responsibility
- Lead and supervise team members to ensure all daily warehouse and delivery tasks are completed accurately.
- Oversee the loading, unloading, and professional packaging of goods to ensure items reach showrooms in excellent condition.
- Monitor and coordinate transportation schedules, ensuring company vehicles are operated safely and materials are delivered on time.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, traffic regulations, and warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Audit vehicle logs, including mileage and fuel consumption, to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Supervise inventory organization and ensure the warehouse is maintained in a clean and secure manner.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure all mechanical issues are reported and resolved promptly.
- Conduct quality checks on packaging and wrapping materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Manage staff performance, attendance, and task delegation to maintain optimal productivity levels.
- Identify operational risks or delivery delays and implement immediate corrective actions.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 4–6 years of experience in warehouse operations, with proven experience in a supervisory or lead role.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license (relevant vocational licenses for goods vehicles are an advantage).
- Strong leadership skills with a firm and diplomatic approach to managing team discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse safety, professional packaging techniques, and logistics coordination.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail in managing company assets and vehicle logs.
- Physically fit and capable of overseeing heavy lifting and manual loading operations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required by operational needs.
Pay: RM1.00 - RM2.00 per month
