About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the financial team at Cone Marshall Asia as a Financial Controller. In this full-time role based in a grade A office in Landmark in Central, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
What you'll be doing
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial functions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and tax compliance
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to the management team
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Liaise with external auditors and regulators to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and training as needed
- Contribute to strategic decision-making and support the company's long-term growth objectives
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of experience in a similar financial controller or senior accounting role, preferably in the accounting industry
- Thorough understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a finance team
- Proficient in the use of financial software and data analysis tools, ideally Business Central
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable
