DevOps Architect / Specialist

Responsibilities

• Establish best practices and strategies in DevOps and driving the growth of the IT business in DevOps area
• Formulate DevOps strategies, policies, governance in Application Development
• Lead the build deployment, software configuration, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and release engineering process for a new platform initiative
• Guide the project teams on DevOps best practices including scalability and performance tuning processes
• Collaborate with the team leads to coordinate the release schedule and resolve any issues that impact the release and deployment of the platform
• Provide pre-sales support on DevOps solutions to facilitate the future growth and support the business needs
• Support Training & Development team on DevOps capabilities training programs
• Keep abreast with the trend and development in the industry and optimize the DevOps methodology and process

DevOps Senior Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and managerial oversight and responsibility for the day-to-day operations of 7 x 24 Services
• Advanced understanding of business technology drivers to provide DEVOPS best practices
• Working closely with teams to deliver high quality, highly available software solutions under DEVOPS environment.
• Provide operational intelligence by deploying and maintaining solutions for logging, monitoring, alerting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues together with the engineering teams and prevent future issues.
• Working shifts or be on call

DevOps Architect / Specialist

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• A minimum of 8 years experience in IT profession
• Experienced in DevOps, Release management and delivery to production, Automated deployment, Continuous integration, Continuous delivery and release engineering
• Technical knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Maven, JUnit, Nagios and other open-sourced DevOps tools
• Experienced in project implementation using Agile methodologies and best practices
• Possesses certificate in Agile Project Management will be an added advantage
• Effective verbal and written communication in English
• Good leadership, analytical, inter-personal and problem solving skills
• Positive attitude, fast-learning, energetic, able to perform in challenging environment
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as DevOps Specialists

DevOps Senior Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related fields
• 4 years of experience working on Infrastructure or Platform Support
• Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration and core Internet protocols.
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS and Google is required).
• Strong experience with SQL and MySQL (e.g. NoSQL, Mongo and Redis).
• A working understanding of code and script (e.g. PHP, Python and Perl)
• Experience with resources/automation/configuration management using either Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Git or an equivalent will be advantage.
• Knowledge of best practices in operational processes, DevOps, deployment checklists, and more.
• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Monitoring and log analytics tools (e.g. Elastic Search, Splunk, Grafana, Graphite, InfluxDB, Cacti)
