Work you'll do

• Install and configure new Servers and users workstations
• Maintain and perform troubleshooting on user workstations and Servers
• Interact and follow up with vendors and government departments for maintenance and fault reported for any computer equipment and software until case completed
• Maintain the inventory record of the computer equipment
• Provide technical assistance for relocating/establishing computer equipment
• Perform day-to-day LAN Administration jobs,
• Manage and configure network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls
• Implement and manage security policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data
• Perform regular system backups and ensure data recovery processes are in place
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues
• Document and maintain system configurations, procedures, and policies
• Train and assist end-users in the use of hardware and software

We are looking for someone with

• Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• At least 4 years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • Performing LAN Administration jobs
  • maintaining and performing troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows or Linux servers
  • Supporting Windows system services including DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory
• At least 2 years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • Providing help-desk and technical support for Microsoft Windows workstations
  • Supporting standard office applications including MS Outlook and MS Office
  • Supporting MDM service and mobile devices (in particular iOS devices)
  • Supporting server hardware and network equipment
  • Supporting VPN
  • Monitoring of LAN/WAN/VPN network performance
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and configuration problems in PCs and notebooks
  • Managing centralised backup system, e.g. ArcServe R16 or above
• Below support experience is preferred:
  • Prior support experience in Government department(s)
  • Maintaining and supporting websites using tools like Adobe Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ASP
• Holder of below professional certifications is a definite advantage:
  • Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) or equivalent
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • IBM Certified System Administrator (CLP) - Lotus Notes and Domino
