Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) and security solutions. This role focuses on delivering high-quality indoor projects within the commercial, educational, and government sectors, as well as managing residential maintenance contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Lead the end-to-end execution of indoor ELV projects, ensuring delivery within contract project lengths .
System Design & Technical Oversight: Define system architecture and technical requirements for integrated solutions including IP CCTV, Access Control, and networking hardware.
Design Supervision: Provide technical direction and validation for system layouts and schematics; while a dedicated support team handles the drafting, the Engineer must possess the knowledge to review, correct, and approve all technical drawings.
Maintenance & Operations: Oversee ELV maintenance service contracts for residential properties, ensuring system uptime and client satisfaction.
Technical Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients in the government, education, and commercial sectors.
Documentation: Review progress reports, O&M manuals, and technical tender submissions for accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
Experience: Professional experience in ELV, security, or ICT project engineering.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with surveillance systems, biometric access control, wireless networking, and digital payment integration.
Engineering Literacy: Deep understanding of technical drawings and circuit diagrams, with the ability to translate client needs into clear instructions for the drafting team.
Education: Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, supporting staff, and external institutional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant local licenses e.g. Security Personnel Permit (Type D), Green Card, Safety Officer Certificate
Experience with integrated smart card payment systems.
Familiarity with government procurement and institutional project workflows.
