Responsibilities
Institution: Khoo Teck Puat Hospital
Family Group: Ancillary
To maintain a high level of service for patients and ensure continuous improvement to work processes for Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Yishun Community Hospital.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(A) SPECIFIC
- To identify, analyze and propose improvement to work processes for Portering.
- To support the planning, designing and management of system support e.g. NGEMR Transport Module.
- To monitor staff training matters related to Portering.
- To assist to manage and monitor service vendor.
- To assist with incident review and closure of gaps with vendor.
- To provide constructive feedback to vendors to improve services.
(B) GENERAL
Management
- To work closely with other departments within KTPH & YCH to ensure implementation of hospital policies and procedures.
- To participate in the execution of the Workplan.
- To prepare Portering Department’s performance report.
- To support other duties during non-peace time e.g. temperature screening, contact tracing etc. in times of emergency.
- To undertake any other projects assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
(A) EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Diploma Holder
- Experience in a supervisory role is an advantage but not essential
- Knowledge of hospital operations would be preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
