Job Description
Responsibilities
The Audio Visual Content Manager is responsible for the visual soul of the livehouse. You will oversee the creation, curation, and execution of all digital assets shown on LED screens, projectors, and social media platforms. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in AV systems and a creative eye for motion graphics to ensure that the visual experience is as high-impact as the live music.
Visual Direction & Creation: Design and produce high-quality motion graphics, lyric videos, and ambient visuals that synchronize with the musical sets of the performers.
Live Visual Operation: Manage the live VJ (Video Jockey) deck during operating hours, ensuring transitions are seamless and lighting/visuals are perfectly timed with the music.
Content Library Management: Curate and organize a vast library of visual loops, brand assets, and promotional videos for daily use and special themed nights.
Technical Oversight: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of LED walls, projectors, and media servers. Coordinate with external vendors for equipment repairs or upgrades.
Brand Consistency: Ensure all on-screen content (including digital menus, sponsor advertisements, and house rules) aligns with the venue’s brand guidelines.
Live Documentation: Capture high-quality video snippets and professional photographs of live performances, "crowd hype" moments, and interior aesthetics for marketing use.
Post-Production: Edit "Weekly Highlight" reels or artiste introduction videos for use on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
Administrative Support: Assist the HR and management team in preparing digital presentation materials for internal staff training or corporate sharing sessions.
Technical Troubleshooting: Provide immediate assistance for any connectivity issues involving iPads, microphones, or soundboards used by the floor staff or artistes.
Event Setup: Assist in the physical setup of temporary AV equipment for outdoor events, private corporate bookings, or pop-up stages.
Any other ad hoc tasks assigned.
Key Competencies
Creative Agility: Ability to quickly "improvise" visuals based on the energy of the crowd and the tempo of the music.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring all text, logos, and graphics are pixel-perfect and free of errors before going live.
Collaboration: Working closely with Artiste Managers and Lighting Technicians to create a unified sensory experience.
