Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SME – Red Hat Enterprise Linux to support and manage enterprise delivery environments within a banking domain. The role requires strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Cluster, environment management, automation, incident resolution, and infrastructure support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage delivery environments including COB activities.
- Handle incident resolution for Level 2 support issues.
- Build and automate scripts and operational tasks where required.
- Support environment configuration management and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams on technical issues, interfaces, and project activities.
- Analyze problems and provide both short-term and long-term solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
- Ensure timely communication, coordination, and issue tracking across teams.
- Work in adherence to ITIL processes including Incident and Problem Management.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat Satellite, and Red Hat Cluster.
- Experience in Delivery Environment Management (DEM).
- Knowledge of T24 (Temenos Transact) delivery environments is preferred.
- Experience with deployment and automation tools such as Octopus and GitLab.
- Mandatory experience with Jira for bug tracking and agile task management.
- Exposure to HPSM and ServiceNow is an advantage.
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix/Windows platforms.
- Understanding of Oracle and MSSQL database platforms is advantageous.
- Familiarity with complex IT infrastructure environments.
- ITIL certification is mandatory.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.
- Good communication skills and proficiency in English for cross-border collaboration.
