The Associate Executive (EA)/Senior Associate Executive at the Pre-Professional Education Office (PPEO) is responsible for overseeing clinical teaching for undergraduate students in Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Allied Health at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). This role involves close collaboration with education leaders to manage various aspects of pre-professional clinical education.

Job Duties

  • Pre-Professional Education Programme: The Associate Executive is responsible for coordinating and preparing logistics for clinical postings and teaching activities. This includes managing student numbers, assessment forms, and databases, as well as ensuring the smooth execution of clinical postings.
  • Service Quality Improvement: The role emphasises the timely collection of feedback from students and the implementation of quality improvement projects. The Associate Executive supports feedback sessions, tracks feedback, and collaborates with the administrative team to optimise work processes.
  • Test and Examinations: The Associate Executive collaborates with clinical departments to facilitate national school examinations. This includes logistics arrangements, venue reservations, and providing support to schools during tests and exams.

In summary, the Associate Executive (EA)/Senior Associate Executive is instrumental in developing the Pre-Professional Education Programme, improving service quality through feedback and enhancements, and managing the logistics and administration of examinations. On top of the primary job duties, candidate may also be involved in supporting various initiatives and projects within PPEO.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma and at least 2 years of working experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Proficient with using Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and deliver results to meet timelines.
  • Good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Fresh Diploma graduates may be considered.
