Position: Solutions Engineer (IR4.0 / Industrial Automation)

Location: Kampung Tunku, Petaling Jaya

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and technically inclined Solutions Engineer to support business growth by promoting Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Industry 4.0 (IR4.0) solutions.

This role combines technical knowledge and customer engagement, making it ideal for fresh graduates or junior engineers who are passionate about automation, smart manufacturing, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Sales & Business Development

• Promote and present Industrial Automation and IR4.0 solutions to clients in manufacturing industries
• Identify new business opportunities and engage potential customers
• Conduct product presentations and solution demonstrations

2. Technical Consultation & Solutioning

• Understand customer production challenges and recommend suitable solutions
• Work closely with engineering teams to design and customize solutions
• Support implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization post-deployment

3. Customer Relationship Management

• Build strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted technical advisor
• Follow up on existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities

4. Product & Technology Knowledge

• Learn and promote company solutions such as:
• Data Analytics Platforms
• Digital Asset Management Systems
• Production Planning Automation Tools
• Industrial Cybersecurity Solutions
• Stay updated on Industry 4.0, automation, and smart manufacturing trends

5. Training & Knowledge Sharing

• Conduct product briefings and training sessions for clients
• Support internal knowledge sharing within the team

6. Sales Reporting & Market Insights

• Maintain accurate records in CRM system
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates
• Conduct market research on competitors and industry trends

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
• Engineering (Electrical / Mechatronics / Automation / Industrial)
• Information Technology or related field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Internship or exposure in automation, PLC, SCADA, or manufacturing is an advantage
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong interest in automation, digitalization, and IR4.0
• Problem-solving mindset with technical curiosity
• Willingness to learn and engage with customers
• Basic understanding of industrial systems is an added advantage

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
