JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor who is passionate about construction costing, project coordination, and site management.

This role focuses on quantity measurement, costing, project documentation, and supporting smooth project execution.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Quantity Surveying & Costing

Prepare quantity take-off and cost estimation for projects

Assist in preparing quotations, tender documents & BQ (Bill of Quantities)

Monitor project costing and budget control

Source and compare material pricing from suppliers

Prepare progress claims and project documentation

• Project Coordination

Coordinate with contractors, suppliers & project team

Assist in project planning and site progress monitoring

Ensure project documents are properly updated and organized

Attend site visits and meetings when required

Support project manager in daily operations

• Documentation & Reporting

Prepare reports, payment claims & variation orders

Maintain proper filing for project records and invoices

Track project progress and material usage

Ensure documentation complies with company standards

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Diploma / Degree in:

Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Building Technology / related field

Minimum 1 year experience in:

Quantity Surveying / Construction / Interior Fit-Out

(Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)

Strong skills in:

Cost estimation & budgeting

Communication & negotiation

Project coordination & documentation

Basic knowledge in:

AutoCAD / Microsoft Excel / QS software

Construction materials & costing

Tender & contract documentation

Able to work independently & in a team environment

ADDED ADVANTAGE

Experience in Interior Design industry

Site coordination experience

Knowledge in renovation & fit-out projects

Good negotiation skills with suppliers & subcontractors

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
