JOB SUMMARY

The Finance Manager position is a hands-on role responsible for end-to-end financial management, including reporting, budgeting, compliance, cash flow oversight, and team leadership. Reporting to senior management, the role plays a critical part in ensuring financial integrity, strong controls, and timely insights to support business performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Oversee daily finance and accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis and performance reporting.
• Manage cash flow planning, cash forecasts, and banking relationships to ensure adequate liquidity.
• Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
• Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements; coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls, policies, and financial procedures.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to drive accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Support finance system enhancements and participate in ad-hoc financial and business projects.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT

• Microsoft Office
• Experience with accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or other ERP platforms).

OTHER SKILS REQUIREMENT

• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with at least some experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, forecasting and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing accounts payable, cash flow and treasury-related activities.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a finance team.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Comfortable operating in a hands-on, fast-paced business environment.

Pay: From RM7,000.00 per month
