Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and business-driven Sales Manager to drive business development and solution sales across Malaysia, Singapore, and Southeast Asia markets within the optical communication, fiber optic, and optoelectronics industries.

This role focuses on promoting physical products and technical solutions related to optical communication systems, testing instruments, and fiber optic technologies while building long-term customer relationships and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales

  • Promote and sell optical communication, fiber optic, and optoelectronic solutions
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and annual revenue objectives
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories
  • Drive market expansion and increase business growth opportunities

Customer & Project Management

  • Understand customer requirements and provide technical-commercial solutions
  • Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships
  • Support project coordination and customer requirements throughout project lifecycle
  • Take ownership of sales performance and project outcomes

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Gather market information, customer feedback, and industry insights
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends
  • Support strategic planning and business development initiatives

Marketing & Brand Promotion

  • Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and promotional activities
  • Support initiatives to strengthen company branding and market visibility

Requirements:
Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in:
  • Optical Engineering
  • Telecommunications
  • Electronics Engineering
  • Marketing
  • Related disciplines
  • Master’s Degree is an added advantage

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience in relevant industries
  • Experience selling technical products such as:
  • Optical testing equipment
  • Fiber optic products
  • Optical components
  • Communication systems/equipment

Preferred backgrounds:

  • Sales
  • Technical Support
  • Project Management
  • R&D within related industries

Skills & Competencies

  • Understanding of optical communication products or testing instruments
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong negotiation and business development capability
  • Self-driven and results-oriented mindset
  • Team player with ability to work under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Pay: Up to RM20,000.00 per month
