A premier local professional service and accounting firm seeking a meticulous and analytical Accountant to manage a dedicated portfolio of Hong Kong accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions for our clients' Hong Kong operations.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-End Full Set Accounts: Manage the complete bookkeeping and full set of accounts for assigned SME clients, executing tasks seamlessly from initial data entry all the way to delivering the final reporting pack (MUST).

Management Accounts & Reporting: Utilize advanced, hands-on Excel skills to prepare, format, and finalize accurate monthly and quarterly management accounts (MUST).

Cloud Accounting Management: Maintain and update financial records efficiently using modern cloud accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero.

Client & Stakeholder Relations: Serve as a proactive point of contact for clients, answering financial queries, resolving bookkeeping discrepancies, and providing smooth client-servicing support.

Compliance & Closing: Ensure all financial data is compliant with local accounting standards, managing smooth month-end and year-end closing processes.

Problem Solving: Identify accounting irregularities, reconcile complex variances, and implement practical solutions to improve client workflow efficiency.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accountancy and finance.

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of working experience handling a full set of accounts.

Software Skills: Proficiency in cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.

Communication: Excellent command of English (written and spoken). Proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is highly advantageous given the close collaboration with Hong Kong stakeholders.

Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
