Job Summary
The Payroll Assistant is responsible for supporting payroll processing, employee operations, and administrative coordination to ensure smooth daily business operations. This role includes handling payroll documentation, statutory contributions, employee records management, attendance tracking, and operational support while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly payroll processing and ensure timely salary administration
- Monitor employee attendance, overtime, leave, and related operational matters
- Assist in resolving payroll and employee operational issues to ensure smooth daily operations
- Handle payroll-related documentation and filing
- Assist with statutory contribution matters such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and LHDN-related administrative processes
- Ensure payroll records and documentation are accurate and updated
- Update and manage employee records in an organized and confidential manner
- Coordinate with internal departments and support workforce management activities
- Assist in operational coordination and client servicing matters when required
- Prepare payroll reports, operational tracking, and administrative documentation
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management, reporting, and record keeping
- Support additional HR, operational, and administrative tasks assigned by management from time to time
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma and above in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Management, or related field
- Minimum 2 year of working experience in payroll, HR operations, administration, or related field
- Possesses own transport and willing to travel when required
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic administrative documentation handling
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
