Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum seven (7) years hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing.

Required skillsets (minimum):

a) Functional Testing

b) Non-functional Testing

Experience with Eggplant testing tool or any other automation testing tools (added advantage).

Exposure to investment or financial systems (added advantage).

Responsible for planning, designing, and executing test activities to ensure software quality across functional and non-functional domains.

Possess strong capability in test execution, defect management, and test documentation.

Professional certification related to the role (please list out) e.g.: CFTL

Possess knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key responsibilities:

Assist Head of Section to plan and manage the operation of the section.

Plan, design, and execute functional test cases based on requirements and design documents.

Conduct non-functional testing based on test script.
Prepare details test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and test execution report for internally develop applications.

Review vendor test script for externally develop applications.

Log, track, and validate defects, ensuring closure with development teams for both internally and externally develop applications.

Review implementation checklist.

Implement and utilization of test automation tools to improve test efficiency.

Implement and maintain test documentation in accordance with QA standards.

Keep abreast of technology and industry practices by staying updated on emerging technologies, software engineering methodologies, tools, framework, and governance standard relevant to software development.

Maintain and grow professional competence through:

a) Participation in training programs, workshops, and technical courses

b) Reading technical and professional publications,

c) Engaging in relevant professional communities and networks

d) Active participation in professional organization or peer learning group

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
