1. Patient Assessment:
- Conduct initial evaluations to understand patients’ physical conditions, medical history, and functional limitations.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as range-of-motion measurements and muscle strength assessments.
- Set realistic and measurable treatment goals based on assessment findings.
2. Treatment Planning and Implementation:
- Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient’s condition and goals.
- Apply manual therapy techniques, exercise therapy, and therapeutic modalities (e.g., ultrasound, TENS, heat/ice).
- Teach exercises and stretches to improve mobility, strength, posture, and coordination.
3. Monitoring and Adjustment:
- Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery.
- Educate patients and families on self-management strategies, ergonomics, and preventive care.
- Encourage patient participation in therapy and provide emotional support as needed.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Refer patients to specialists or additional services when necessary.
- Provide clear reports and documentation for medical records, insurance, or legal purposes.
5. Administrative and Professional Duties:
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and case notes.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and clinic/hospital protocols.
- Participate in professional development activities and stay updated on new treatment methods and research
Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
Work Location: In person
