Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Infant Care Specialist with a nursing background to provide high-quality care for infants in a home or daycare setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in pediatric and neonatal health, as well as a nurturing, attentive approach to supporting the physical and emotional development of infants from birth to 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, responsive care tailored to each infant's individual needs.
• Monitor infant health, development, feeding patterns, and sleep schedules.
• Administer medication or first aid as needed in accordance with medical guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment.
• Support developmental milestones through age-appropriate play and interaction.
• Prepare and sterilize bottles, handle formula or breast milk, and assist with feeding.
• Track and report daily activities, milestones, and health concerns to parents/guardians.
• Follow and enforce hygiene practices (e.g., hand washing, diapering protocols).
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to ensure consistent care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in infant care, neonatal nursing, or pediatric care.
• CPR and First Aid Certification (infant-specific preferred).
• Knowledge of infant development, safety protocols, and nutrition.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• [Optional] Experience with special needs or medically fragile infants.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
