VC Engineering Hiring! Full Time Procurement Manager in Selangor - Ricebowl

About the role

As the Procurement Manager at VC Engineering Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of iCents Group Holdings Berhad), you will play a crucial role in overseeing the procurement activities and supply chain management for the company's construction projects. Based in our Subang Jaya, Selangor office, this full-time position will see you manage all aspects of the procurement process to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services required for successful project completion.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the company's construction projects

2. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favourable terms and pricing for materials and services

3. Oversee the procurement of all necessary construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services

4. Monitor and control procurement budgets to ensure projects remain within established cost targets

5. Collaborate with project managers to align procurement activities with construction schedules

6. Maintain detailed records of all procurement activities and prepare regular reports

7. Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and implement cost-saving measures

8. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all relevant industry regulations

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years' experience in a procurement or supply chain management role, preferably within the construction industry

2. Strong understanding of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services

3. Proven track record of negotiating favourable contracts and managing supplier relationships

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

5. Proficiency in data analysis and report generation using relevant software tools

6. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements

7. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred
