China Communications Construction Company (M) Hiring! Full Time Site Engineer in Pulau Pinang - Ricebowl

About the role

As a Site Engineer at China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn Bhd (Penang), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing construction projects in Penang. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects by liaising with cross-functional teams, monitoring on-site progress, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

What you'll be doing

1. Coordinate project site issues with consultants, the main contractor, and other relevant parties.

2. Oversee site activities, including supervising and monitoring resources such as materials, manpower, and machinery on-site.

3. Supervise and manage subcontractors and general workers regarding project planning and work progress.

4. Attend all meetings and inspections.

5. Inspect construction sites regularly to ensure work is carried out in accordance with construction drawings and engineers' instructions.

6. Perform other duties or tasks assigned by superiors from time to time.

What we're looking for

1. Candidates must possess at least a Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.

2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with experience in civil engineering or infrastructure construction will have an added advantage.

3. Required languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.

4. Applicants must be self-motivated, capable of working independently with minimal supervision, and possess strong supervisory and coordination skills.

5. Full-time position, Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (2-hour lunch break), public holidays off.

1. 与顾问、总承包商及其他项目相关单位协调项目现场问题。

2. 协调现场施工活动，包括监督及管理现场资源，如材料、人力及机械设备。

3. 监督及管理分包商和工人的项目计划及施工进度。

4. 出席所有会议及现场检查。

5. 定期检查施工现场，确保工程按照施工图纸及工程师指示进行。

6. 执行上级不时安排的其他职责或任务。

1. 候选人须至少拥有土木／结构工程或相关领域的证书、文凭或学士学位。

2. 欢迎应届毕业生；具备土木工程或基础设施建设相关经验者申请。

3. 所需语言：华语(优先考虑)、英语和马来语。

4. 需具备积极主动的工作态度，能够在较少监督下独立工作，并具备监督管理能力。

5. 全职岗位，周一至周六 8:30am – 6:00pm（午休2小时），公共假期正常休息。
