About the role

We are looking for a highly driven, aggressive Business Development Executive / Lead who thrives on hunting new opportunities, meeting people, and closing deals. This full-time role is based in Kuala Lumpur or Penang.

The ideal candidate should be proactive, results-oriented, and curious about "AI-know how". The position also requires willingness to travel outstation when necessary to meet with existing and potential clients, with fully claimable mileage and accommodation allowance.

What you'll be doing as a Business Development Role:

  • Hunt and close new business opportunities (this is not a farming role).

  • Actively meet new clients, partners and industry players across Malaysia.

  • Attend meetings, events and networking sessions as needed.

  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → pitching → negotiation → closing.

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the automotive industry.

  • Close high-value B2B deals and push them across the finish line as they grow.

  • Work closely with Head of Business Development and farmer team to drive aggressive growth targets.

  • Lead and motivate the BD team by example (for BD Lead role).

  • Track pipeline, revenue performance and market feedback.

  • Travel as needed to develop new markets and business opportunities.

What we're looking for

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, or related field.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales.

  • Strong hunter mindset — proactive, resilient and target-driven

  • Comfortable approaching new people and opening conversations

  • Ready to travel and find it hard to stay in the office all day.

  • Ready to juggle priorities in a fast-paced world.

  • Comfortable with KPIs, targets and deadlines.
