About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and analytical Production Planner to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position based in Batu Pahat, Johor, you will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of production activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of our high-quality furniture products to our customers.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and maintain comprehensive production plans to meet customer orders and sales forecasts

2. Analyse production data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity

3. Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure the smooth flow of materials and resources

4. Monitor production progress and make adjustments to the plan as needed to address any delays or challenges

5. Provide regular reports on production performance and recommend strategies for continuous improvement

6. Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and other process optimisation initiatives

What we're looking for

1. Relevant tertiary qualification in production planning, operations management, or a related field

2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar production planning or scheduling role, preferably in the manufacturing industry

3. Proficient in using production planning and scheduling software.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions

5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate cross-functional activities

6. Adaptable and able to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
