Description:
Responsibilities
- Assisting with docking/berthing operations
- Dock block arrangement
- Support services
- Planning & converting of vessel docking plan to yard docking plan with Auto Cad
- Following up with owner on dock block inspections and obtaining approvals
- Undertaking pre-docking and undocking meetings with clients
- Assisting with Dept's productivity and quality improvement exercises
- Preparation and presentation monthly with department
- Handling Dept's clerical / administrative work (preparation of docking/berthing plans, coordination of relevant meetings etc)
- Any other tasks as assigned by immediate Superior.
Requirement
- ITE Higher Nitec in Marine Engineering/Offshore Engineering (with 2 years’ experience in the maritime industry)
- Preferably equipped with SSSC certificate
- Able to prepare and interpret general docking plans
Other Information
- Location: Gul (transport provided)
- 5 days work week
- Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
