Job Description

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Front-of-House Reception & Guest Flow
  • Extend a warm, enthusiastic welcome to all patrons upon arrival.

  • Verify bookings, accommodate walk-in traffic, and seamlessly streamline the entry queue.

  • Lead clientele to their designated tables or VIP sections with a poised and affable demeanor.

2) Reservation Strategy & Table Assignment
  • Field incoming booking inquiries across multiple channels, including phone, WhatsApp, and in-person requests.

  • Keep the floor sheet and reservation system meticulously updated in real-time throughout the shift.

  • Partner with the Floor Manager to optimize seating arrangements, maximizing venue capacity and overall guest comfort.

  • Proactively follow up on advance bookings, paying special attention to high-value and VIP accounts.

3) Door Control & Guest List Supervision
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Security to enforce venue door policies, guest list entry, and access restrictions.

  • Ensure smooth entry and priority seating for VIPs, loyal regulars, and promoter-hosted parties.

  • Discreetly and tactfully conduct age verification and dress code compliance checks.

4) Revenue Driving & On-Site Promotions
  • Identify opportunities to upsell premium bottle packages, minimum-spend tables, and exclusive event access.

  • Actively brief guests on upcoming theme nights and active marketing campaigns to drive engagement.

  • Persuade standard walk-in guests to upgrade to table reservations to maximize incentive opportunities.

5) Client Relations & Complaint Resolution
  • Stay highly attentive to guest sentiments, efficiently addressing and escalating any friction or feedback.

  • Cultivate rapport with returning patrons to foster long-term loyalty and brand affinity.

  • Exercise strict discretion and absolute professionalism, particularly when hosting high-profile individuals.

6) Venue Upkeep & Bar Assistance
  • Maintain the pristine condition of service areas, ensuring floors and tables remain clean, dry, and litter-free.

  • Bus tables promptly by removing used glassware, empty plates, and clutter.

  • Support bar operations by replenishing essential stock, including glassware, ice, and beverages, to prevent service delays.

  • Assist in running drinks and completing opening/closing checklists for the bar setup.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Possess an outgoing, confident, and highly approachable personality.

  • Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Prior background in nightlife entertainment, upscale hospitality, or luxury guest services is highly preferred.

  • Fully available to work late-night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Impeccably groomed with a strong commitment to professional presentation and personal hygiene.

  • Familiarity with digital reservation platforms or hospitality POS systems is a distinct advantage.
