Responsibilities

• Develop data driven business insights and analytics to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth
• Establish and uphold optimal data management standards and practices
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver data driven outcomes
• Evaluate and streamline operational workflows using data driven approach and identify opportunities for process optimization
• Manage initiatives, identify and implement process improvement and transformational opportunities
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualisations to present business insights
• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business and data analysis
Contribute to the overall strategy and vision of the Institutional Banking Group

Requirements

• Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics or Business Administration
• Minimum 8 years’ solid experience in business analytics and quantitative analysis, particularly in banking operations and/or AML/CFT
• Strong data management and analytical skills with ability to collect, organize and interpret large datasets, and apply statistical and data modelling techniques
• Good problem solving, communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as VBA, SAS, Excel, Python and other statistical software
• Good understanding of technology tools especially in relation to analytics, data & statistical modelling
