Job Description
Responsibilities
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and optimization of all critical infrastructure within the Data Center. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, operational efficiency, and uninterrupted availability of services. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong leadership and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Data Center Operations : Manage day-to-day facilities operations, ensuring uptime and reliability of critical systems.
Building Management System (BMS) : Lead monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of BMS to maintain environmental stability.
Maintenance & Compliance : Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Vendor & Contractor Management : Coordinate with external service providers for maintenance, upgrades, and emergency repairs.
Project Management : Drive facility-related projects, including upgrades, expansions, and sustainability initiatives, leveraging PMP methodologies.
Risk & Incident Management : Develop and implement contingency plans, respond to incidents, and conduct root cause analysis.
Documentation & Reporting : Maintain accurate records of operations, certifications, and compliance audits.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
REW Electrical Certification (B0) and Property Management Practitioner (Tier 1) license (QF5) or above is a MUST.
At least 3 years of Data Center facilities management experience.
Strong knowledge of BMS systems, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical infrastructure.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external vendors effectively
