Job purpose:
We are seeking a highly driven, self-motivated Business Development Manager to lead the acquisition of new clients and partnerships in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate is someone who welcomes challenges and thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
Hunt and Acquire New Business:
Identify, engage, and convert high-potential clients in commercial B2B or B2C.
Build a robust pipeline through networking, referrals, events, and outbound initiatives for the target brands.
Lead the full business development lifecycle from prospecting to pitching to closing.
Strategic Collaboration & Alignment:
Work closely with the Senior leadership team to align business development strategies with company goals.
Provide regular market insights and recommendations to refine the go-to-market approach.
Client Onboarding & Expansion:
Oversee smooth onboarding of new clients, ensuring clear handover to operations and delivery teams.
Support in creating tailored acquisition and marketing strategies for new accounts
Brand Representation & Relationship Building:
Represent the company with professionalism and credibility at external meetings, networking events, and conferences.
Cultivate long-term potential client relationships.
Reporting & Forecasting:
Pipeline reporting, sales forecasting and financial gating processes
Market intelligence and insight
Present regular progress updates, highlighting challenges and opportunities
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Language Skills:
Fluent in Cantonese and English (Spoken & Written)
Good communication in Mandarin

Resilient negotiator and confident communicator
Strategic thinker who connects day-to-day work to broader business outcomes
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration is preferred.
Experience:
5+ years in business development and new client acquisitions
Proven track record of building a pipeline and closing large accounts – network of commercial clients/brands is a MUST
Experience in a high-growth and can working independently are highly preferred
Skills:
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
Able to work under high pressure and target driven environment
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
Agile, adaptable, and culturally fluent in the Asia business landscape
