Responsibilities
Principle Duties:
Planning and managing the shipping of goods from China and Offshore countries to the U.S.A., Canada, Australia, U.K. and EU countries.
Liaise with China & Offshore factories, and freight forwarders for shipping arrangements.
Prepare a full set of shipping documents for destination customs clearance.
Communicate with overseas customers on shipping advise.
Work out logistics-related costing for shipping LDP & DDP orders.
Coach and train the junior staff in handling LDP & DDP shipments.
Prepare periodical reports for team manager.
Ad-hoc jobs assigned by team manager.
Requirements:
Diploma or above.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in international shipping/logistics, with exposure at supervisory or Assistant Manager level preferred.
Hands-on experience handling DDP and LDP shipments, including coordination and costing is A MUST.
Solid experience liaising with China/offshore factories, freight forwarders, and overseas customers.
Good command of English and Mandarin.
Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and support junior team members when required.
Immediate availability is preferred.
