Role Summary

• Support the Head Baker & General Manager in producing high-quality Japanese-style bread and pastries.
• Plan, organize, and execute daily baking operations in line with Moropain's vision and standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee the consistent preparation and baking of authentic Fukuoka-style bread and daily menu items.
• Maintain strict standards for food safety, hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
• Manage inventory, minimize ingredient wastage, and follow best practices for storing dry and fresh goods.
• Update daily production schedules, recipe cards, and quality control guidelines.
• Assist with product development, menu innovation, and testing new Japanese bakery trends.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is sanitized, well-maintained, and in excellent working condition.

Qualifications and Experience

• 1 to 2 years of professional bakery experience with a focus on Japanese or Asian bread making.
• Passionate about the bakery industry with a strong desire to learn new artisan techniques.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and capable of problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team player with a positive, energetic work ethic.
• Good command of Cantonese (optional) and English (knowledge of Japanese is a strong advantage).
