Responsibilities
About the Role
We are looking for a hybrid "Creative + Analytical" powerhouse to lead our merchandise strategy. You won't just be ordering products; you will be the architect of our collection. You will spot the next big trend, find the right factory to build it, and use sales data to prove it works.
If you have impeccable taste, a black belt in Excel, and the ability to negotiate with suppliers across Asia, we want to talk to you.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy: Identify market trends and consumer behaviors in Singapore and beyond to curate a compelling product range (Apparel, Consumer Goods, etc.).
End-to-End Sourcing: Source, vet, and manage relationships with regional manufacturers. You will handle everything from initial "Tech Packs" and sampling to final quality control.
Merchandising & Data: Analyze weekly sales reports and sell-through data. You’ll use these insights to optimize inventory levels, plan re-orders, and refine future collections.
Cost Management: Negotiate "Landed Costs" (Production + Logistics + Duties) to ensure healthy gross margins without compromising on product quality.
Quality & Aesthetic Control: Ensure every piece of merchandise aligns with our brand’s "look and feel." You are the final gatekeeper for taste and quality.
Requirements
Experience: 2–4 years in Retail Merchandising, Product Development, or a similar role in a fast-paced consumer brand.
The "Eye": A strong sense of aesthetics and an obsession with current lifestyle and street-wear trends.
The "Brain": Highly proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) with a natural comfort for numbers and sales forecasting.
Communication: Excellent negotiation skills. Fluency in Mandarin or another regional language is a significant plus for communicating directly with overseas factories.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with fabric types, GSM, printing techniques, and production timelines.
