Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and passionate Senior R&D Executive to lead beverage recipe development and product innovation for our coffee vending and automated beverage solutions. This role focuses on creating, improving, and standardizing beverage recipes to ensure product quality, consistency, operational efficiency, and market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new beverage recipes, including coffee, chocolate, tea, and specialty drinks for vending and automated machines.
• Improve existing recipes based on customer feedback, operational performance, and market trends.
• Conduct product tasting, formulation testing, and quality evaluation to ensure consistency and taste standards.
• Work closely with Operations, QA, Procurement, and Technical teams during product rollout and machine compatibility testing.
• Source and evaluate raw materials, ingredients, syrups, powders, and beverage components from suppliers.
• Ensure recipes are suitable for vending machine operation and maintain product stability.
• Standardize formulation processes, preparation methods, and product specifications.
• Prepare recipe documentation, testing reports, SOPs, and product improvement records.
• Conduct shelf-life testing and monitor product quality performance.
• Research market trends, competitor products, and new beverage innovations.
• Support product launches, promotional beverages, and seasonal menu development.
• Assist in cost optimization while maintaining beverage quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Nutrition, or related field.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in beverage R&D, product development, café operations, or food & beverage industry.
• Strong knowledge of coffee, beverage ingredients, and flavor profiling.
• Experience in recipe formulation and product testing.
• Passionate about beverage innovation and market trends.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple development projects.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Added Advantage

• Experience in coffee chain, café industry, vending machine beverages, or FMCG.
• Knowledge in powder-based beverage formulation.
• Familiarity with food safety and HACCP standards.
• Experience handling supplier sourcing and ingredient testing.
