The People team plays a crucial organisational role in Shopee by channeling important resources to key functions in the company. People are key to Shopee’s growth, and as our business expands, so does the need to develop and support our employees.

About the Team:
As a Recruitment Coordinator at Shopee Malaysia, you will be responsible for supporting the recruitment team in identifying, attracting, and hiring talented individuals who will contribute to our dynamic and fast-paced organization. You will assist in coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process and ensure a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Job Description:
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team on recruitment related operational matters including job posting, background checks, interview coordination, etc.
  • Conduct thorough background checks on selected candidates, including reference checks, employment verifications, and other necessary screenings.
  • Assist in the completion and submission of recruitment-related forms, such as offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding documents.
  • Creating and posting job advertisements on various platforms, ensuring job descriptions are accurate and compliant to company’s guideline.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork, adhering to internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of all recruitment forms and related paperwork.
  • Update and maintain recruitment trackers and databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on candidate status, interview outcomes, and other relevant data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination and integration of recruitment processes.
Requirements:
  • Open for fresh graduates
  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Proficiency in using productivity tools and software, including Google Suit (Google Sheet, Google Doc, Google Slide, etc) and applicant tracking systems.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
