Job Advertisement: Account Cum Admin Assistant
Location: Puchong Selangor
Salary Range: RM 3,500 - RM4,500 (commensurate with experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly efficient and proactive individual to provide crucial support to our finance and administration departments. You will be the backbone of our office operations, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day functioning through a blend of accounting tasks and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance :
- Handle full sets of accounts or assist in the preparation of accounts (AP, AR, GL).
- Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements and petty cash.
- Prepare and issue quotations, delivery orders, and official receipts.
- Assist in monthly closing, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of SST submissions and other statutory requirements.
- Manage and follow up on customer payments and supplier accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and filing.
- Manage general office administration, including answering calls, handling correspondence, and managing schedules.
- Coordinate office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Assist in HR administrative tasks such as staff claim processing and maintaining leave records.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and clients professionally.
- Organize and maintain both electronic and hard copy filing systems.
- Assist in ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a similar combined role.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCount Accounting software, SQL Payroll system and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Possess a positive attitude, high integrity, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
