We operate retail gaming spaces, create social media content, run promotions and brand campaigns, and organize esports/event activations including our own event IP, Unleashed.
We are looking for a Marketing & Creative Executive to join our team and help manage our marketing planning, creative workflow, content calendar, campaign coordination, and daily execution.
This role is suitable for someone who is creative, organized, proactive, and able to follow up with different people to make sure marketing work gets done properly and on time.

Working Arrangement
This is mainly a HQ-based role at Cove Circuit Bandar Sunway.
However, because Cove Circuit operates in retail, events, esports, and brand activations, candidates must be reasonably flexible when campaign work, shoots, events, or meetings require support outside normal office timing.
Some events may happen on weekends or outside Klang Valley. For approved outstation events, travel arrangement, accommodation, and allowance will be provided where applicable.
Occasional extended hours may be required when meetings, launches, shoots, or urgent campaign work run longer than planned. This should not be treated as everyday working culture, but candidates must be able to support when genuinely required.
Normal Working Days & Hours : Monday to Friday (12PM - 10PM)
Salary
RM3,000 to RM4,200 per month
Based on experience, maturity, and ability to manage marketing and creative workflow independently.
Start Date
Immediate or as soon as possible preferred.
Role Summary
The Marketing & Creative Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking Cove Circuit’s marketing and creative execution.
You will help propose campaign ideas, prepare marketing plans, manage the content calendar, coordinate creative tasks, brief designers and editors, follow up on approvals, and report daily task progress to management.
This role is part marketing, part creative coordination, and part project management.
You do not need to be the best designer or video editor. But you must be able to organize creative work, communicate clearly, follow up properly, and make sure campaigns move from idea to execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Planning and Campaign Ideas
- Propose marketing campaign ideas for retail outlets, events, promotions, collaborations, and brand activities.
- Prepare simple campaign plans with objective, target audience, key message, timeline, creative assets needed, and posting schedule.
- Turn management ideas into clear marketing tasks.
- Maintain the monthly marketing and content calendar.
- Identify what content, poster, reel, story, video, photo, caption, or design asset is needed for each campaign.
- Track campaign progress from idea to execution.
- Prepare simple campaign recaps when needed.
2. Creative Team Coordination
- Coordinate creative tasks between designer, content editor, intern, and management.
- Maintain the creative task tracker.
- Brief creative tasks clearly.
- Set deadlines for design, video, photo, copywriting, and posting tasks.
- Follow up on task progress daily.
- Make sure every task has a clear objective, platform, format, deadline, and approval owner.
- Escalate delayed, unclear, or blocked tasks early.
- Keep the creative team focused on priority work.
3. Content Calendar and Social Media Coordination
- Maintain the content calendar for Cove Circuit’s social media channels.
- Track content status from idea, draft, pending approval, scheduled, posted, and reported.
- Prepare captions and basic posting copy.
- Coordinate posting schedule.
- Ensure final approved assets are saved and organized.
- Save posted links, screenshots, and proof of postings when needed.
- Route customer or operational questions from social media to the correct team.
4. Approval Follow-Up and Internal Communication
- Follow up with management for feedback, direction, and approvals.
- Update management on task progress, blockers, priorities, and campaign status.
- Capture important decisions in writing.
- Make sure no important instruction or approval is lost in WhatsApp, meetings, or verbal discussion.
- Flag conflicting instructions or unclear priorities early.
- Communicate clearly between marketing, creative, retail operations, and events team.
This role requires someone who is comfortable following up professionally and not afraid to ask for decisions when deadlines are near.
5. Daily Task Reporting
You will be expected to submit a daily task plan and end-of-day task status.
Daily task plan includes:
- Top priorities for the day.
- Creative tasks due today.
- Campaign tasks due today.
- Approvals needed.
- Blockers or risks.
End-of-day task status includes:
- Completed tasks.
- In-progress tasks.
- Delayed tasks.
- Pending approvals.
- Tasks waiting for management, creative team, events team, or operations team.
- Priorities for the next working day.
6. Intern Coordination
- Assign simple daily tasks to the marketing / creative intern.
- Guide the intern on research, scheduling, admin work, content preparation, caption drafting, and file organization.
- Review intern task completion.
- Help the intern support the marketing and creative workflow properly.
7. Event and Campaign Support
You may also support Cove Circuit events, brand activations, and Unleashed-related marketing work.
This may include:
- Preparing marketing task lists for events.
- Coordinating event content requirements.
- Assisting with campaign launch materials.
- Tracking sponsor-related creative assets.
- Saving proof of postings and deliverables.
- Coordinating with the events team for content, announcements, participant updates, or sponsor-related materials.
Requirements
Must Have
- Able to support occasional weekend events, campaign activations, shoots, or outstation work when required.
- Able to stay slightly beyond normal working hours when urgent meetings, campaign deadlines, or event preparations require it.
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, PR, Design Management, or related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, content coordination, creative coordination, social media, events, or project coordination.
- Good written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong organization and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable using Google Docs, Google Sheets, WhatsApp, and basic task tracking tools.
- Able to prepare clear briefs, task lists, captions, and simple reports.
- Able to work from Cove Circuit HQ in Bandar Sunway.
- Able to start immediately or within short notice is an advantage.
Good To Have
- Experience managing social media content calendars.
- Experience coordinating designers, video editors, or creative teams.
- Basic Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, TikTok, Instagram, or Notion knowledge.
- Interest in simracing, gaming, motorsport, esports, events, or youth brands.
- Basic photography or video shooting sense.
- Experience with KOLs, creators, collaborations, or campaign reporting.

- You dislike task trackers, deadlines, and reporting.
- You are scared to chase approvals.
- You cannot handle feedback or last-minute changes.
- You wait for perfect instructions before doing anything.
- You prefer working alone and do not like coordinating people.
- You are messy with files, deadlines, or WhatsApp updates.
- You cannot write clearly.
