Cezars Kitchen is seeking qualified Cooks to join our kitchen in Batu Berendam, Melaka.

The candidate who meets the requirements below will be called for an interview.

• Ability to cook a wide range of foods in large batch quantities
• Be a qualified cook: ( Certificated available upon request)
• Passionate about food!
• Positive and inviting attitude - you will need to engage and have conversations with customers Enjoy working around children: You're cooking for and catering to students, faculty, staff and parents
• Self-motivated and can work with the team
• Minimum of 1 year of working experience in either a) school kitchens, b) hotels or c) restaurants
• Passionate about food!
• Must have valid Typhoid, Food Handlers Certificate and Vaccination Certificate (2 dose + Booster)

Responsibilities

• Work with the head chef to prepare daily meals
• Plan menus by consulting with head chef, estimate food costs, inventory control systems and profits.
• Kitchen operations management when Head Chef not present
• General kitchen duties (prep to cleaning)
• Own transportation to/from work location
• Ability to stand for several hours at a time in a fast pace kitchen
• Ability and willingness to learn new recipes/processes and techniques
• Integrity to follow company policies and procedures (SOPs)
• Work quickly and under time constraints Will be advised during the interview
