Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Server Management
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, virtual machines (VMware/Hyper-V/HCI), storage, and backup systems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure.
- Perform system upgrades, patch management, and regular maintenance.
- Manage server roles such as DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and File Services.
Active Directory (AD) & Identity Management
- Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user accounts, security groups, and OU structure.
- Implement and manage Group Policies (GPOs) to ensure secure and consistent system behaviour.
- Handle identity and access management, including MFA and SSO where applicable.
Microsoft 365 Administration
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and security compliance.
- Manage M365 licensing, configuration, and policy enforcement.
- Troubleshoot M365 issues and support end users when required.
Networking & Security
- Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, routers, VPN, and Wi-Fi.
- Monitor network performance, bandwidth, and security alerts.
- Assist in maintaining IT security controls, including antivirus, endpoint management, and security compliance (ISO 27001)
IT Support & Operations
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support to resolve complex issues.
- Work closely with vendors for system implementation, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor IT assets and ensure compliance with corporate IT policies and license requirements.
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Maintain detailed documentation on infrastructure, configurations, and IT procedures.
- Develop SOPs, checklists, and best practices for system operations.
- Continuously improve system reliability, automation, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in Web Development with exposure to IT Infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Hands-on experience with M365 administration. · Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VLAN, firewall, VPN).
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V). · Familiarity with IT security standards, ISO 27001, and compliance practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
