• Conduct sampling and testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products (physical, chemical and microbiological tests) as per SOPs.
• Perform in-line checks and document results accurately in QC records.
• Verify packaging, labelling, batch coding, expiry dates and HALAL marking against specifications.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming products; raise quality holds and support deviation/CAPA investigations.
• Calibrate and maintain QC laboratory equipment (pH meter, balance, refractometer, etc.) per schedule.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Maintain QC documentation, COA, retention samples and laboratory records in good order.
• Practise good laboratory practices (GLP), 5S and EHS in the lab and on the floor.
• Support continuous improvement of QC processes and food-safety programs.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the QA/QC Manager.

Education & Skills Requirements:

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry or any related field.
• Knowledge of ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, HALAL and food regulations (Food Act 1983, Food Regulations 1985) is a strong plus.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined in documentation and able to follow SOPs strictly.
• Willing to work on rotating shift, weekends and public holidays.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English; competent in MS Office.

Pay: RM2,000.00 per month
